What people don't know is Humpty had a great mind. He was influential and was a man of revolutionary thought and creativity. This scared the king; that there was someone within his kingdom that was held in higher esteem among the common folk then he was. So the king commanded his guards to "deal" with Humpty Dumpty and as to not upset his people he put Humpty back together, but the people did not know that pieces were left out on purpose when the Kings Men put Humpty back together. Leaving Humpty docile and no longer a threat to the Kings reign.
